  • Don’t forget a hat and sunglasses for your child.

  • If your child might fall asleep, bring a beach towel to cover them from the sun.

  • Once we get on the water, there is no turning back; unless you are on a private tour or if you are the only party on the tour. In that situation, there will not be any partial refunds or rescheduling if you cut your tour short for any reason.

Do I need to sign a waiver?

  • A waiver is required for every person and pet participating.

  • Adults ages seventeen (17) and under will not be permitted to act as an adult age (18+) for signing any waivers including their own.

Is it appropriate to give tip/gratuity to our tour guides?

Tips are greatly appreciated by our guides, it’s a way for you to say “Thank You” for their services. Your guide is dedicated to your group for 5 to 9 hours including their time setting up  and cleaning. They are working to make this a great experience. They will not solicit tips or mention the subject at any time.

“If you enjoyed the ride, tip your guide!” We suggest 20% being the standard U.S. Gratuity.

What skill level do I need?

All skill levels are invited to participate. Your guide will give you some basic tips and you will be quickly on your way. We do require all guests to stay up with the group.

Is there a weight limit?

Our kayak manufacturer has established a weight limit of 800 lbs., or 362 kg. for our tandem kayaks. Bring your gear and load it up! Just remember, the more you bring, the more work it is to paddle that extra weight.

Special diet accommodation, food allergies, sanitary conditions?

Please bring snacks, food, and drinks with you on your tour. It is the most sanitary situation for you to consume food from your cooler and drink from a bottle that has been under your control entirely. Therefore, we will not provide drinks or food.

On the full day tours, you can purchase from the menu at a waterside marina. They specialize in fresh fish, hamburgers, and some salads. You will have to see what fits into your dietary preferences based on the menu available on your tour day. We cannot make special accommodation in food, tour discounts or tour refunds based on what is or is not available at the restaurant.
