This part of the route offers the highest chance of spotting dolphins and larger marine animals, which frequently linger, play, and hunt around the Cove. When the tide permits, you can swim, wade, relax, and explore its shallow sandbars and flats.

At the Fort Pierce Inlet, experience the popular tunnels inside the mangrove forest, learn about its ecosystem, and meet some of its inhabitants. Swim and enjoy snacks on the white sandy shore of the Inlet.
On the return trip, the electric motor lets you relax in your ultra-comfortable kayak lounge chair, stretch your legs, and stop along the way to maximize wildlife viewing.
